Fall has fallen

Post by dieseldr on November 8th 2013, 1:55 am

I don't know how the weather has been out west/south, but MOnday AM was 14 degrees, Wednesday it was 70 degrees and sunny, and today it was a high of 38, it's snowing here now, and sticking to the ground. We may see an inch by morning, highs near 35 for the next week or so. Time to go fire up the coal boiler in my friend's/customer's greenhouse... radiant heat in the floor. Then the three days a week babysitting begins. While he's in the Dominican Republic relaxing in his new house, I keep the heat going here. That's OK- I have no desire to go travelling out of the country for vacationing purposes... or for any other purpose for that matter. Too much to see in this country. He keeps pestering us to come down, but it seems you need a passport to leave the country- not on my to do list.

I was in my t shirt working outside today on the property. I'm sure we will be getting it soon.

Spent most of the day out working in it- the Mrs couldn't understand why I didn't want to go outside after work today.... got inside where it's warm and dry. I'm stayin' put.
