Hey guys. I am working on a 69  bug.  it caught fire through the carburetor I redone all the wiring And the fuel lines  .the copper tube broke right at the fitting there is a small sleeve that fits inside the fitting around the copper tube I got the old copper tube out of the sleeve but can't get the sleeve back on the copper tube any ideas am I making any sense..  thanks guy

That's what I was thinking, hardware store should carry that sleeve and a complete fitting. End of tube may be boogered up, if it is, you may have to get a new piece of line to go with it.

I got to work measured the tube ordered a 1/8 ferrule fitting. About half hour it was in my hands and i had it together and running before the delivery boy left. Thanks guys i didnt know wat it was so i could order it lol. Now back to fixing the body where it was burned. The hood and the little cowl panel under the backwindow is toasted.
