Glad you got a shot of the Quick Lane truck. It is slick and quick!
He's got a pretty good business going. Does oil, brakes and such to keep the lights on and does custom work when he picks it up. When he started out it was all hot rods and racing but when the economy goes down people don't pay to play as much.

I freaked Amy out a little here. I seen these and wanted to get a better look so I drove through a driveway and into the back field to take a look.

It's a shame that what he wants to do is more then likely a thing of the past but adapting to the needs is what keeps the money coming is. I'm glad to see the place is in working order. Very Happy

This our local media blaster. He did the little PU in my shop. He started out at his house in the middle of nowhere. No complaints from neighbors but the the county shut him down because of zoning and dust control. He had about 5 jobs going and was lucky to move to this building quickly. He's good. You won't find any heat warp on those big ol flat Chevy panels. cheers

I get so upset about zoning BS. I can see if it's hurting someone but the thought of owning a place and you have to be told what you can do with what you own just ticks me off. Some of it I can understand but most of it is just political power gone wrong. That's why we are looking for property where we can do as we wish.

That's why I moved to the middle of nowhere. I don't care what my neighbors do, and they return the favor.

My uncle knows the guy that runs the antique shop with all the high dollar. Stuff. His dad use to own it before he died several years ago. Use to go over seas and buy antiques and have them shipped back. Use to be a hoping place from what I was told.

He probably would have been fine if he hadn't tried to do the right thing. He went and got a business license and tried to get a zoning variance to have a busines on his land. It was too small a place and he got rejected. Sometimes its better to ask forgiveness than permission.

We started toward Watertown, TN. I was giddy to see how much it looked like Ireland. Light green grass, rolling hills and land filled with protruding rocks.

We made it to downtown Watertown.

This is Doug's town so I was wanting to catch up with one of our newest club members while we was there. Problem is we were so far in the woods that non of our cell phones would get service. The lady at the Watertown Library let us use her landline to call Doug.

Doug was in Nashville but left work early to come back home. While we waited for him we ate and took in the town.

They wish but it didn't happen. It did take it's time using Amy's floor board for a place to go. Laughing

The bad part is Watertown had some really cool building but it once again become a very heavy rainfall. The cameras were put up so not too many pics of this town. pale
